New investigators, staff, and students may be required to receive an orientation to the facility they will be working in prior to being issued entry card access. This training includes information on the appropriate entry/exit to animal facilities, proper handling of cages, etc. Further information regarding facility orientations can be obtained by contacting the relevant facility manager.
Prerequisites to Facility Orientation
Before you request facility orientation, be sure that you:
- Online training via IACUC/AALAS Learning Library is complete
- Completed the Animal Handler's Questionnaire
- Listed on the Animal use Protocol
